Hopper's Furry Tale (HFT) is a children's book about animals that lived in the land of Harpers Ferry 1 million years ago, before humans. The name itself is a pun based on the northern and southern ways of pronouncing ?Harpers Ferry?, a town which was bitterly contested during the Civil War. HFT is based on classic anthropomorphic stories from Aesop's Fables onwards, so the feel of the book is meant to evoke nostalgic memories of animals, events, and places. Follow the tale of Rabbit Hopper as he discovers the ancient land that is now known as Harper's Ferry. Hopper and his friends explore the wonders of the Furry (place of furry animals), while learning to be kind, honest, and responsible; even if it means just being themselves and trying to enjoy living there together.
