Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Gregory Scime was born in 1945 in Newark, New Jersey. his early childhood included music lessons, Greg Scime was born in 1945 in Newark, NJ. His early childhood included lots of music lessons, baseball and Catholic elementary school education. High school and college education included 8 years of Jesuit schooling at Xavier High School, a military school in New York City, and a business education at Boston College. Upon graduation from BC in 1967 he enlisted in the United States Army Officer Candidate School. Instead of becoming an infantry officer the Army determined him to be more useful a an Army Bandsman. When his three year enlistment was fulfilled he auditioned for and was accepted into Manhattan School of Music. His musical career included several years of making a living as an accountant until his earning from music were sufficient. After many years as a rock and roll musician he turned his attention to sacred music and developed a career as the Organist and Director of Music at St. Teresa Church, a large catholic parish in Summit, NJ. As an organist he has earned an Associate Certification from the America Guild of Organists. His background in many styles of music has offered him the opportunity accept positions as adjunct professor of Jazz piano at Seton Hall University and director of several New Jersey based choirs.
