Barbara Starosciak has been teaching French for 35 years in public, private and home-school settings. She has created numerous programs for students of all ages and taken many students with her on trips to Europe. When she homeschooled her own children, she began teaching them French at a young age. Other mothers asked her to teach their children and the classes grew. Eventually she began to teach on-line to homeschoolers around the world. Then Barbara sought out other foreign language teachers to mentor. Next educational organizations asked for workshops on how to teach a foreign language to homeschoolers. Her enthusiasm for language learning, travel and bridging cultures has inspired students around the world. Through this book , she hopes to encourage homeschooling parents in their pursuit of educational excellence.
