Dr. James Owers Sr. is a native of New Zealand. Growing up in a country village, he was the first in his family to attend university. After farming for three years, he took three degrees at the University of Canterbury, with majors in economics, accounting and mathematics. He worked as an accountant and advances manager before returning to the University of Canterbury as a lecturer. In 1977 he moved to the USA to study at The Ohio State University. After graduating with this PhD. in economics and finance, he taught at the University of Massachusetts, The University of California, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Georgia State University and Harvard University. He is the coordinator of the Summer Economics Program at Harvard. As a researcher and author, Professor Owers has published more than 100 articles and books and has extensive experience leading executive seminars and consulting with companies in North, Central and South America, Europe and Asia. He has lived using the 10 dimensions covered in this book and has reached a high level of utility from life.
