Jack Gannon and Cyndi Williams Barnier were high school friends in the 1970s at Beaufort High School in Beaufort, S.C. They spent their class days working together helping each other with their writing assignments, and editing each other’s poems and stories. Their dream was to graduate and become published authors. After high school graduation, however, they went separate directions with their lives. In true Southern tradition (as in, there was absolutely no hurry), thirty-two years later they reunited in retirement and picked up where they left off: wanting to write and become published authors! With a fine feline office staff of seven cats, and one Pomeranian, they spend their days writing gruesome murders and the specialized agent heroes who track down the killers... along with other short stories outside their TASK FORCE universe of adventures.
