Inhaltsangabe

My First Montessori Book of Numbers, the sequel to My First Montessori Book of Quantities, reinforces counting from “1” to “10” the Montessori way. Help your child recognize that quantities have written symbols and that each numeral is made up of separate quantities. Point out the difference between even and odd with the clear isolated images in this book. The concept of “0” as an empty category is also reinforced.

Written and computer illustrated by AMI Primary Diploma holder Mary Da Prato with hand drawn illustrations by Genevieve DeVaney Da Prato, BFA, MAT, My First Montessori Book of Numbers includes details for three basic counting activities from the Casa: Spindle Boxes, Cards and Counters, and the Memory Game of Numbers. Related counting activities are also described.
