Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Dr. CHENG Aimin is professor of language and culture at the School of Humanities of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Nanjing University, China. He studied and taught at several American universities including Harvard University and Penn State University. He is one of the leading experts in foreign/second language education in China. He has published more than 100 scholarly articles in domestic and international journals, and over 10 books. He has also translated Joseph Heller’s Catch 22 (Taipei, 1995) and D. H. Lawrence’s The Trespasser (Nanjing, 1997).
