CHAPTER 1
THE BEST REVENGE IS SUCCESS
REVENGE, REVENGE
You do not have to be physically dead to be living in a casket or working toward one." Why, because life has beat you down, and we call you the living dead.
Life has beaten you down spiritually, life has beat you down mentally, life has beat you down emotionally, life has beat you down physically, life has beat you down financially, and the situations and opportunities that you want are not in your life. You are the living dead.
I know by now you're probably saying, "AJ Rolls, what makes you such an authority on the living dead?" What makes me such an authority on the living dead is, "I had on the job training, OJT." I was the living dead.
Life had beat me down spiritually, life had beat me down emotionally, life had beat me down mentally, life had beat me down physically, life had beat me down financially. The situations and opportunities I wanted were not in my life. Obstacles, adversities, setbacks, and discouragement took away my goals, dreams, and desires. I was the living dead. I know you're probably saying, "Why didn't you get yourself motivated and inspired?" I couldn't be motivated or inspired. When have you ever seen someone go to a graveyard and motivate or inspire somebody buried under six feet of dirt?
The only difference between me and the people that were physically buried in the graveyard is that I could breathe, walk, talk, see, and hear, but I did have one slight advantage, time! I had time for a second chance with my life.
That was all well and good, but then I realized, in order to have a second chance with my life, first, my life had to be resurrected.
Second, I had to be released from the chains and bondage of the living dead. That was all well and good, but then the question came, how? As I contemplated that thought through some phenomenal occurrence, it came to me: know the truth, and the truth will resurrect your life and set you free. I found the truth, and my life was resurrected; then I was set free from the chains and bondage of the living dead.
I had a spiritual resurrection, I had an emotional resurrection, I had a mental resurrection, I had a physical resurrection, and I had a financial resurrection. The situations and opportunities I wanted in my life were resurrected too. My life was and has been resurrected; I was and have been set free from the chains and bondage of the living dead.
Now, because of that, I want to help you help yourself. Do you need a spiritual resurrection? Do you need an emotional resurrection? Do you need a mental resurrection? Do you need a physical resurrection? Do you need a financial resurrection? Do you need certain situations or opportunities resurrected in your life? If so, now is the time.
Why did I say that? Because I know somebody or somebodies are probably saying, "Who does AJ Rolls think he is talking about resurrecting somebody's life? Does he think he is God or magical?" I do not profess to be God or magical; however, I do profess to be a person that was the living dead, and my life has been resurrected, and I have been set free from the chains and bondage of the living dead. I also profess to be an individual whose forte, my specialty, is helping you help yourself resurrect success in your life, succeed, learn the science of success and succeeding and the philosophy of living success as a way of life.
In order to have a resurrection or resurrections, there are three prerequisites, requirements:
First, give all the negatives from your past a funeral.
Second, give all the negatives in your present life a funeral.
Third, give all the negatives you may be contemplating about your future a funeral.
These negative cycles and negative programming may have come in your life as a child. Maybe as a child, you were spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically, and sexually abused. Maybe as a child, you had programming that was not conducive or constructive to you becoming a successful adult.
Maybe these negatives or negative programming came in your life as a teenager. Maybe as a teenager, you were incarcerated, you had drug and alcohol problems, you failed high school, or you had an unplanned teenage pregnancy.
Maybe as a teenager, you noticed your mother did not want to do anything with her life and your father did not want to do anything with his life. Your brothers and sisters did not want to do anything with their lives. Your uncles and aunts did not want to do anything with their lives. People in your neighborhood did not want to do anything with their lives, and every time you started talking about being someone successful and you began emulating what you observed other successful people doing in your definition thereof, they would tell you, "Boy (or girl), stop trying to be something that you're not."
Maybe these negatives or this negative programming came into your life as an adult. You thought that when you graduated from high school or college, everything was going to work out exactly the way you wanted them to. You found out things didn't always work out exactly the way you wanted them to. You found out, people would let you down and do you wrong. You let yourself down and did yourself wrong. You've had problems with your marriage, problems with your relationships, problems with your career, problems with your job, problems with your health, problems with your finances, problems with your religion, problems achieving your goals, problems achieving your dreams, problems achieving your success, and because of this, you're mad, angry, bitter, hurt, frustrated, and upset.
We're going to take all the negatives from your childhood, the negatives from your teenage years, and the negatives in your adult life and give them a funeral.
Past. First, take the negatives from your past and throw them into the graveyard of negativity and bury them. Now give them a funeral. Who hurt you in the past, who did you wrong in the past, and who let you down in the past?
The best revenge for what people did to you in your past is to successfully forgive them then succeed with your life by achieving your goals, dreams, and desires because...
