I grew up in sunny southern California with two younger brothers, three dogs, and a revolving collection of cats, hamsters, lizards, snakes, frogs, fish, and any other small animal I could talk my ever-patient mother into letting me keep. I am also an avid sailor and have a weird fascination with anything having to do with cowboys. Combine all of this with an overactive imagination and a tendency to daydream and you’ve now entered the extraordinary imagination of Richard Stephens. I now live and write in wooded Maine.
