Inhaltsangabe

It’s a short tale based on a real news story: a hippo loose on the streets of a village!

Nikki is a big hippo in a little bit of trouble. She had thought she was going to spend the day resting by her pool at the zoo, but now she’s stranded in a local village thanks to a flood that had swept her away. She has no friends there, and the villagers are not very happy to see her. Nikki is having a horrible day, and it only gets worse after she makes a mess at a restaurant. But then a surprise encounter helps Nikki realize that a bad situation could be turned around with just the right attitude.

Animal Bites: The Hippo on the Loose is the first book in a series of fun, fictional stories for children, inspired by actual events. For ages 3-7.
