Hia Chakraborty describes herself as a nineteen-year-old dying college student. Having read many pieces of fiction as a child, she has grown and developed a knack for the literary arts. Born in India and raised in both Connecticut and New York City, she tries to embody the urbane perspective in most of her work. She has written multiple novels awaiting publication, but Aurora's Ashes is her debut. She is often seen in the company of herself, but lives in New York City with her family.
