The author is a monk-priest at the Abbey of New Clairvaux. Entered religious life in 1944 as a Christian Brother of Ireland. Is a monk since 1959, a priest for 40 years, and a hermit from 1985-2005. Authored Don’t You Belong to Me? by Paulist Press, and The Hermit Bird’s Song, self-published on CreateSpace. Is a Spiritual Director since 1968, BA and STM degrees. Certified in Spiritual Direction and MBTI. Professor of theology and philosophy for 20 years; conducted parish missions and retreats in 1980’s. Does private and group spiritual direction at the Abbey.
