Velyn Cooper is from the great island of Grand Bahama, Bahamas. She is a proud graduate of Hawksbill High School (1977) and Marygrove College, Detroit, Michigan, (1988). She is a seasoned Music Teacher who has been fortunate to have students go on to higher learning at the tertiary level and are now Music Teachers themselves.
