Inhaltsangabe

Caught in the Mo(u)rning Rain is an anthology of poems dedicated to all children and their families in Paediatric Palliative Care. Filled with poems to celebrate and treasure life, grieve loss, empower caretakers, this compilation serves as a lighthouse to guide one through the toughest of times during their voyage with a special needs child. There is hope in the darkest of times as long as you keep the faith. My mother always taught me 'When the going gets tough, the tough gets going' and this highly-anticipated intimate compilation proves exactly that.

Über diesen Titel

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

My name is Dr Pravin and I am currently a paediatric resident at KK Women's & Children's hospital. For the last month, I was working in the Paediatric Oncology ward (in other words the children's cancer ward) and have compiled an anthology of poetry I hope to publish to raise awareness of the plight of these children. The collection is entitled 'Do they have telephones up in heaven?' I chose this title because it holds special significance to these families and to these children. When a child leaves the world, parents will want to remain in touch with their child by whatever means or memories they have.
