As music teachers, we face the challenge of simultaneously teaching students with many different types of learning styles, ability levels, and disabilities. Patricia De Orio teaches strings at the Elementary and Middle School level in Maryland. She has a Bachelor's in Music Education from Converse College and a Master's in Music Education from the University of Maryland. Mrs. De Orio is a National Board for Professional Teaching Standards certified teacher and is a member of the National Association for Music Education and the American Strings Teacher's Association.
