J. Gordon McConville is Professor of Old Testament Theology at the University of Gloucestershire. He is the author of several books, including God and Earthly Power (2006).

Lloyd K. Pietersen is Visiting Research Fellow at Newman University and author of The Polemic of the Pastorals (2004).
