Biografía del autor:

Eric Spears is an educator in New Hampshire. Teaching second grade, he discovered a dearth of compelling books for struggling readers. The books available for these students had "babyish" themes and were physically smaller than the books enjoyed by students who were reading at grade level. Eric began to write assignments, poems and stories for his students who were reading at a first grade reading level but socially adapted to second grade. Because they deal with issues familiar to second graders, these "Hi-Lo" books can be enjoyed by all students and help to keep every student fully integrated into the class.
