Dr. Parker is a former Pastor and Seminary professor with a Bachelor's degree in elementary education, and both a Master's and a Doctorate in religious education. He travels, speaking in Bible conferences, and doing full Bible book studies in churches in America and overseas. He is the author of numerous books on the Bible, both devotional and more detailed studies. This is his second book on preaching. Several other books are in the works at the present time (2014). He and his wife are the parents of six children, and eighteen grandchildren (and counting).
