Tara Dodrill is a preparedness journalist who writes for Off The Grid News, Survival Life, Survival Based, eFoodsDirect, Prepper and Shooter Magazine, and is the host of The Prepared Family radio show. She lives in rural southern Ohio with her family and a host of critters. Dodrill has a background in both education and real estate. Dodrill became fully-focused on preparedness, and had to tell her husband that he was right, after living through a week-long power outage in 103 degree heat. A week without power led to much research about the power grid and all the threats facing our most vulnerable and vital piece of infrastructure.
