Matt Kennedy has been assisting people with their financial services needs since 1997. Upon graduation from Union University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and a minor in Management, Matt began helping clients protect their personal and business assets at the Tennessee Farm Bureau. While with the Tennessee Farm Bureau, Matt was awarded every production and service award for which he was eligible. His easy-going personality and knack for clearly explaining complicated issues, helped make him a trusted advisor to a large number of clients in the Jackson, Tennessee, area. After a 5 year period on staff with the Young Life ministry, Matt returned to the financial services arena with a new focus: teaching clients how to eliminate financial decisions that could be transferring away their wealth. Through extensive education, Matt teaches clients a holistic approach to financial management. He teaches clients how every financial decision is an important one that has a ripple effect throughout their entire life Matt says, “Do you remember the first time you played Tic Tac Toe? I’ll bet you lost. I’ll even bet that you lost regularly until someone taught you the rules of the game. The financial world is no different. There are rules that no one is teaching you. My job is not to play the financial game for you but to teach you the rules of the game so that you can play more efficiently and create a more financially independent future.” Most recently, Matt has partnered with a Dr. Nate Schott to create Partners in Dental Excellence.
