Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Gary R Kirby, grew up in Cincinnati near the Ohio River, and was lucky to always have a woods in his backyard to wander and dream of shapechanging animals and clouds, while marveling at the magical worlds of nature, science, and people. He fell in love with words on his grandmother's lap which led to a doctorate in Renaissance Literature from Northwestern University, where he quit reading The Faerie Queene when he found out that the “Knight pricking across the plain,” was really just riding a horse. He taught widely across the country, finally settling in the North West land of beauty. He has written a college text and has self-published a couple dozen books, half of them poetry books, most of the themes on beauty and nature.
