CHAPTER 1

Own Your Greatest Truth

"Don't look for God in the sky; look within your own body." — Osho

"Neither shall they say, 'Lo here! Or Lo, there!' For, behold, the kingdom of God is within!" — Luke 17:21 (KJV)

"I perceive God everywhere in His works. I sense Him in me; I see Him all around me." — Jean-Jacques Rousseau

Imagine you have been in a deep sleep for decades — think Sleeping Beauty or Rip Van Winkle. Upon awakening, details such as the name of the president, the price of gas, or the year are not as critical as your most present reality: you cannot remember how to operate your body. Your eyes need rubbing, but you can't manage it. You have forgotten how to find food and how to lift your hand to your face to calm the rumbling in your stomach. You cannot recall how to put one foot in front of the other — to walk. You feel compelled to yawn, but you can only manage weak, shallow breaths. You are stalled, immobile, as if a disease has taken command of your motor functions and you are now rendered helpless and unable to perform the basic actions you had taken for granted before you fell asleep. Your period of slumber, though extended, seems like only an instant. In the blink of an eye, which is more like the passage of a lifetime, you have lost all command. You have one choice: if you are to survive, you must surrender to the forces of nature.

Those forces will have to run the show.

This hypothetical, yet nightmarish, scenario is comparable to what we, the human race, have been living through. With the passage of time, we have abandoned all reliance on the systems we came wired with — systems intended to control responses that are even more important than motor skills, if you can imagine that. These are the systems that once held you in a state of divinity; that once supported a constant condition of powerful, positive vibration.

What if that debilitating slumber never happened? Or what if you could be reminded, daily, of ways to access and fuel those hidden systems that enable us to feel continually loved, connected, and supported? What if the tapping of these systems gave you the ability to create pictures of your perfect life in your mind, and then bring them to fulfillment, like the simplest of goals? What if you could reignite a fire within you, like the one you remember from childhood? When you believed in yourself, knew who you really were, and understood that you were unstoppable? What if you could easily grasp how these abilities can transform your earthly existence into your own personal heaven?

Those what ifs are about to become massive truths that reside just on the other side of how?

One thing you must accept before proceeding is that you are divine and that you have the power within you to change your life. Any thoughts to the contrary are nothing more than programming. Your design includes a direct line to God. It is an invisible yet always present Connection with the most infinite source of wisdom and power possible — so much so that your mind hasn't the ability to envision its breadth and depth. You are light brighter than light. You are love bigger than love. You are powerful beyond measure. You are beauty beyond words. A long time ago, you were able to grasp these truths. Then you fell asleep.

If only you could remember.

You can. You simply need to give yourself permission, accept that you deserve to see the power and beauty that you are, and set aside the amount of time required for making it happen.

My parents taught me to look for God all around me, so I grew up seeing His handprint on nature, on the faces of children, and in the sunsets that washed the sky in water-colored hues. It wasn't until much later that I heard for the first time that God also lived within me. It was a foreign concept, for sure, and it made me uncomfortable. How could I possibly embrace a notion that felt so self-righteous? Yet I came to understand that this concept, that God lives within me, is the exact notion that Christ tried to teach us during His life on earth. When we are able to see and feel and be the image of God that we were designed to be, anything is possible.

God is the ultimate Creator. You are a creator, too. Everything you have experienced up until now has been a result of your calling it in, whether you realized you were doing so or not. Like powerful magnets, we each order the pieces of our story that make up what we consider to be reality. In any given moment, with awareness and the harnessing of your creative powers, you can choose to alter the direction of your life ... your reality. This is not science fiction. It is truth.

We tend to make the excuse, "I'm only human," when we should be shouting, "I am human!" We create our own human experiences, and when we take ownership of that truth, we become empowered and assume responsibility for everything that occurs, every day. If something shows up, it was beckoned. Adopt this truth, and your power will become limitless.

Certainly, adopting this new way of thinking is challenging, and that's why I'm putting forth the steps necessary for mastering it here. When you embrace your ability to use your God-given power to change everything, that's when the miracles begin to occur — with grace and ease. If you were given the power to choose a positive outcome, you would do it, right?

CHAPTER 2

Ponder the Possibilities

"The saddest aspect of life right now is that science gathers knowledge faster than society gathers wisdom." — Isaac Asimov

"The Divine Light is always in man, presenting itself to the senses and to the comprehension, but man rejects it." — Giordano Bruno

"Miracles are not contrary to nature, but only contrary to what we know about nature." — St. Augustine

The most frustrating thing I face when doing my work is the tendency of naysayers to want "scientific proof." My favorite response to these types is, "I don't need to know how it works; I just know that it does." I then proceed to give them examples of things that we all experience (like deja vu and dream states), and I ask them if they know, scientifically,...
