CHAPTER 1

The Beginning

This story begins on the 10th of March 2014 that was the day I became self employed, in my own little Angel shop in Killarney, County Kerry. God and the angels had guided me to this special moment, where I was going to bring the angels to Kerry in a new way! My task as I understood it was, to bring God and the angels into people's everyday awareness so they could feel the loving guidance that I am blessed to feel every day.

I had previously been a retail manager in a large fast paced retail outlet so it came as a shock to me, to be working in my own relaxed little shop with no employees and no co workers. I quickly realized that a lesson I really needed to learn was patience! I had purchased a deck of Angel Cards the previous year and through the cards I was guided to leave my job and set up on my own, selling angel books and other spiritual items. My shop was open about two weeks when I became a Certified Angel Card Reader, I completed a course with Doreen Virtue, and Doreen is the beautiful lady who created the Angel Cards that I now owned. It was an awesome course and I learnt so much and my faith grew so much too. I love reading the cards for people and watching their surprise, and amazement as the angel messages are always correct. I also love reading the cards for myself and the clarity and guidance I receive which is awesome and invaluable!

A few months later I was guided to become a Reiki Master and then I knew something, It dawned on me that I have always been a healer, I was just somewhat unaware if it! Years earlier I had held one ladies arthritic hands just to warm them and after about five minutes they opened up and never again gave her any trouble! My children and I hardly ever went to a doctor; I always treated them with my hands or used natural remedies. My life had suddenly become so stress free and happy, ever since the angels had entered it. I began to say thank you Angels so often! I was settling in nicely by the time summer ended and I had my first summer as my own boss under my belt. I still wasn't making a proper wage but with my husband's huge support to me, we were getting by alright.

I was on my own one morning in September when a lady walked into the shop and came straight to the counter. She then placed a bottle of water in front of me and said "Hello, Lionel said to give you this, It's from Saint Michaels healing well". I said are you sure it's for me, as I don't know anything about it? She then said "Are you Jane?" and I smiled and said "I am". She smiled back at me and said "Well this water is definitely for you because that is what he said!" she then turned around and walked out the door! I was absolutely gob smacked, who was this lady, and more importantly who was Lionel? What healing well was she talking about and where was it? Boy was I puzzled! I plugged in the computer and powered it on, I had to try find out something before I cracked myself up! When it was ready, I opened the browser and searched for Saint Michaels well. A link came up with a caption "Hundreds flock to Holy Shrine" I was intrigued so I clicked on it.

I read about this sacred site named after Saint Michael the Archangel. My heart almost skipped a beat, I love the Archangel Michael and pray and talk to him daily. I could not believe this Holy space was so near to me, within the county borders. This was amazing; just wait until I tell Mike I thought! I continued reading; the well is built on a site where there once was an ancient well.

This well was built in 1958 and it features a statue of Saint Michael defeating Satan. It is a centre for healing and prayer. I was excited beyond words! I just could not believe how blessed we are to have this hidden gem on our doorstep! I then searched for images of the well; I could hardly wait to see what it looked like. I opened the images and oh my, oh my, it was spectacular! I felt that I was strongly guided to go this place and I was feeling very excited. Later in the day Mike came in to see me and I made him a cup of tea and told him all about the lady with the healing water and Saint Michaels well. I opened up images on the computer and showed Mike the well, he was amazed, and it was so beautiful! We talked excitedly about going there and we decided we would set off the next free Sunday we had on a trip to the well. With that decided I returned to work and back to reality.

It was Sunday 5th October 2014 when we headed off to Saint Michael the Archangels healing well. It was dull, cloudy and a very cold wintery day so we wrapped up warm for our day out. All four of us went, Mike, I and the two youngest children, Hannah (aged 5) and Michael (aged 3 and a half!). It was not a long drive and in about half an hour we arrived at our destination. Mike parked the car at the side of the road; we could see the top of the well from there. We saw a sign and walked to it and then we saw a gate leading down to the well. Mike opened the gate and we all went through and he closed it again after us. We made our way down the winding path and it was lined with colorful plants and flowers. It was very beautiful, when we got to the end of the path we entered the well area and it was a sight to be seen! I had never seen a life size statue of Saint Michael the Archangel, it was so big and so life like! The energy there was very powerful, it was awesome! All of a sudden the sun came out and the grey sky disappeared, we had to take off our hats and gloves as we were getting too warm! I took a moment and closed my eyes, I felt so blessed to be standing right here. There are seven prayer points around the well and each numbered spot has healing properties to different body parts. I began at number one and prayed my way round the well. I then went and sat on a chair at the top of the well, I closed my eyes and the sun felt so warm on my face. It was Heavenly! I could sense and feel the angels surrounding me and I was filled with such an intense feeling of peace. After a while I stood up and told Mike he should have a go, on the seat with his eyes closed. I walked around the seating area and read the prayers stuck onto the walls, it really was a special place. There was a stack of water bottles so we filled two to take home for those we knew who were sick. We had read that the water had healing properties and when to drink it and how much needed to receive healing from it. It was over an hour later when we left the well.

It was January 2015 when we next returned to Saint Michael's well. We encountered the same peaceful powerful energy, the same as the first day we came here. This was such a beautiful, sacred, healing space. Just like the first time the sun came out and the sky turned blue! Was Archangel Michael doing this for us I thought? Thank you Saint Michael if you are I said as I smiled to myself.

My first Christmas in the shop had been very busy and I was up to my eyes in gift baskets! I was so thankful for the angels guiding me to this new life. The unit next door to my shop was available for rent and it was much larger...
