CHAPTER 1

Before Conception

We were, we are, and we will be before any existence. Do we exist before conception? When does life begin? Were we ever born?

While reading my book, you will find information that summarizes the best of my knowledge for an easier self-transformation. In this summary, I have carefully expressed the contents of the treasures within my understanding that I have acquired during my life, including my more than forty years practicing medicine.

Allow me to bring into your awareness for self-transformation some statements that could help you understand our state of being and our decisions before conception.

In our everlasting nature, we are a continuation of infinite states of being. It is a continuous beginning: it never ends. Before any beginning and after any ending, new states of being are always a part of us. The selves are recreating new states of being, always imitating the infinite possibilities of our creator. We are always looking for a deeper love. We have and have had sensations of wholeness, but we are still looking for more.

The most satisfactory way to be different is to find treasures within ourselves. Treasures are always available, but in order to be aware of them, we need to discover them. We have tasks and purposes to realize in our lives. In a glimpse, we desire them before our conception, and we set up the necessary conditions to have a joyful experience — to acknowledge and make them part of our being. We want to make them real, and we place hurdles according to each uniqueness. For the new beginning, we purposely and consciously forget our experiences before this life. We plant treasures and hurdles in the fertile soil for the surprise and the amusement of self-creating a new beginning.

It is as if we are playing hide-and-seek. The mystery is always part of our attraction. Mystery is part of life, just as life is part of the mystery.

We all can create the new story of our beginning — our new conception — but always keep in mind that life is a continuous beginning. We are always whole and looking for more wholeness, and there is always an evolution within our infinite states of being. Let us keep in mind that time and space are an illusion, and our reality goes beyond into no-time and no-space. We are in this reality of no-time and no-space with the purpose of experiencing joy and success.

In our self-transformation, it is necessary to meditate on our meaning, our purpose, and our significance. Please go over the following statements, which have the purpose of enriching your life. These will give you the opportunity to be more in charge — to find the right in the wrong and the wrong in the right. In the energy in between, you can imagine yourself a new and self-conceived being.

• Unless we step back and consciously pay attention to who we are, we will continue to experience despair and suffering. We will have an end without realizing that when one experience finishes, a better one will always naturally replace it in our never-ending existence. In the consensus of the duality of the human reality, we usually accept the dichotomy of either/or without recognizing the quantum possibility of not only one or the other but also both at the same time. It is in between the energy of the duality that we can find the solutions to our problems. There, we embrace the understanding and the knowing that we can always continue our self-creation.

• Unless we step back and realize that time and space are a commodity at our disposal, we, as conscious beings, will not have the ability to be more conscious of the fact that we are in charge of these commodities. If our ignorance persists, we will continue to experience the slavery of limited perception, including the beginning and end of our existence. We will continue to experience fear of loneliness without realizing that we are part of a divine synchronicity.

• Unless we turn back to ourselves and consciously pay attention not only to our limitations but also to our capacity and freedom to create our own perceptions, we will continue to struggle. We will remain unaware that our infinite possibilities are certainly true, beyond any doubt, beyond any uncertainty.

• Unless we are genuinely aware of our capacity to imagine, to create, to desire, to will, and to choose new experiences in our existence, we will not be able to be conscious of the success, the enjoyment, and the bliss of our existence. We belong to something that is bigger than us — something immense that never ends. That energy we usually describe as God or a higher power continuously expands in the love and the caring of our never-ending existence.

• Unless we are consciously aware of the power, the flexibility, the self-acceptance, and the capacity to change our beliefs, we will be unable to consciously realize that we are part of the divine unconditional heritage. In His, Her, or Its essence, there is continuous caring and loving within the infinite paths of our journey in eternity.

• Unless we are aware of our presence in the here and now — and know that our essence goes beyond the time and space of our human duality — we will not be able to establish ourselves in the dignity, the spontaneity, the generosity, the magnanimity, and more that we as conscious beings inherit from our Creator.

• Unless we are aware of the divine love in our existence that never begins but always was, we will not be able to consciously realize that the purpose of our present and future lives is to have fun and be successful. We will not be touched by the freedom, the compassion, and the empowerment we can have in our experiences. Instead, the burden and obligation that we attach to our daily challenges will cloud our perceptions. Dread and fear will continue to be our companions.

• Unless we realize our gratitude for our capacity to choose, we will lack the necessary understanding that we can rewrite our story through forgiveness and surrender to an easier, lighter, and more comfortable life.

• Unless we realize that within our reality we can consciously create and recreate bounds, limitations, and opportunities, we will be unable to accept how "good enough" we are. As a consequence, we will never experience the peace, balance, strength, and power of our capacity to cocreate any moment of our existence. Our imagination will continue to stagnate, and we will never appreciate the richness of our capacity to hope.

• Unless we can redirect in any instant of our existence the love and care of our Creator in us, we will miss out on the self-love, abundance, and healing we yearn for. We have purposes and destinies to fulfill, but unless we are aware that it is up to us to realize, to own, and to change them, we will not be able to...
