Warren DM Reed was born in the UK. He earned a BA in French (Truman State University), MA in French Literature (University of Missouri-Columbia) and an MFA in Creative Writing (Old Dominion University). Hoddu: stories is his first published book. An avid film maker, he recently completed his first feature, Our Story, which, like the collection, portrays experiences of another group of less well-known soldiers: the men who fought for Tanzania to defeat the invading army of Idi Amin of Uganda. With 12 years’ teaching experience, he was also freelance editor.
