The sheriff of the floating city of Shoreview investigates local Polenums gone missing. It is believed that slave traders are rounding them up to be shipped out and then sold to dealers in foreign lands. Bik, Faun, and Gaz run the Shoreview’s “Dare to Trade” shop, which is usually one of the first stops from outsiders who travel to the city to trade unique and mysterious artifacts. However, two of the three young Polenums become concerned when their friend winds up missing. Upon investigating the disappearance, they end up getting caught by the slave traders as well. Their plans to free their friend now must change to a plan to escape before the ship leaves Shoreview, otherwise they will never see their families again.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

The author of this series, Anthony G. Wedgeworth, grew up with learning disabilities and was frequently placed in special classes while being told he was either lazy or stupid. In high school it was discovered that he had severe dyslexia, but the school systems didn’t know how to teach students with such issues. Fighting this challenge, Anthony went on to become an Industrial Engineering Manager, VP of Engineering, and President of various companies. He has owned his own companies and is currently part owner and President of a large Wisconsin based Personal Care company specializing in providing services to Developmentally Disabled, Frail/Elderly/Dementia, brain trauma individuals, and many more who have special needs.
