Biografía del autor:

Paul N. Bloom and David K. Williams are USA Triathlon Certified Coaches with Triangle Multisport in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, a group founded in 2000 by Dave and his wife, Monette (see www.trianglemultisport.com). Both have numerous coaching certifications, with Dave having worked with hundreds of athletes at all levels, including many professional and elite competitors. Dave holds a master’s in exercise physiology and an MBA, both from the University of North Carolina. He has also competed successfully himself as both an elite and age-group triathlete, with numerous podium finishes in races of all distances, including Ironman. Prior to moving into coaching a few years ago, Paul had an award-winning career as a business-school professor at three Universities (Maryland, North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Duke). He has an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania and a Ph.D. from Northwestern University. He has competed successfully in age-group triathlon and duathlon competitions all over the world for more than a decade. Colleagues, but also rivals, Dave is the head coach of the UNC Triathlon Club, while Paul serves as assistant coach of the Duke Triathlon Club.
