Rescuing damsels in distress and talking pink teddy bears are normal around the Gates' house. The Gates are the keepers of the portals of the worlds. Many adventures lie beyond the gates. The worlds are in turmoil as the Labyrinth spreads, so of course Uncle Phil has to show up. His gift for magic and trouble puts the Gates in a situation that only Darnell can help, if only he weren't the one missing.
