Inhaltsangabe

Jaden Steele and her friend, Bobbi Jones, are thrilled to be invited to one of the most famous homes in California history, the Bartlett estate in a remote area of Big Sur, California. The owner of the estate, David Bartlett, advertised his ancestor's sword for sale. Jaden was considering the purchase for her case of swords in her cutlery shop in Carmel. Captain Josiah Bartlett was hanged 125 years earlier for murdering his wife. He swore his innocence to the end and also swore to haunt Smuggler's Point until he was proved innocent. Jaden and Bobbi are only in the house one day when they learn that the ghost of Captain Josiah does not want his sword to leave the point. Jaden realizes that the ghosts that haunt the place are compelling her to solve this cold case from California history.
