Inhaltsangabe

Enter more deeply into the mysteries of Christ through the prayer of the Rosary.

A Rosary Devotional: Learning to Pray Using the Rosary is designed to help Catholics move beyond simply reciting the prayers of the Rosary and enter into the mysteries they contemplate.

Each mystery combines Scripture, meditation, and prayer to help you contemplate the life of Jesus Christ and understand what His mysteries mean for your own life of grace.

Beginning with the Annunciation and continuing through the Joyful, Luminous, Sorrowful, and Glorious Mysteries, this devotional follows a single spiritual movement: God gives His grace, draws us into the life of Christ, and enables us to respond to that grace in faith, obedience, charity, sacrifice, and prayer.

As you pray, you will reflect upon:

• how grace makes our response to God possible

• what it means to share in the Divine Life of Christ

• how Baptism incorporates us into Christ and His Church

• why suffering and evil never have the final word for those united to Christ

• how the Eucharist nourishes the life of grace

• the hope revealed in Christ's Resurrection and Ascension

• the work of the Holy Spirit within the Church

• Mary's place within the Communion of Saints

• the Christian hope of resurrection, glory, and eternal communion with God

Every decade includes carefully selected Scripture passages, brief contemplative reflections, and the complete prayers of the Rosary, allowing you to pray directly from the book without constantly turning to another source.

This is more than a book about the Rosary.

It is a devotional meant to be prayed.

Whether you are returning to the Rosary, trying to understand its mysteries more deeply, or looking for a Scripture-centered Catholic devotional for regular prayer, A Rosary Devotional can help you place your own life within the mysteries of Christ.

The goal is not simply to have prayed a good Rosary. The goal is Christ formed in you.
