The Jungle Book is a collection of stories, originally published in magazines in the late 1800s, which involve animals with anthropomorphic characteristics to convey moral lessons. Rudyard Kipling is the celebrated author of The Jungle Book and Kim. He also wrote two dystopian science fiction tales: With the Night Mail (1905) and 'As Easy As A. B. C.' (1912).
