Votre Comite a par là outrepassé les bornes de son devoir; s'il eût agi strictement, il aurait dû im médiatement faire rapport de cette circonstance Votre Honorable Chambre, et lui recommander de pren dre des mesures ui auraient pu contraindre le Secrétaire Civil de donner es instructions au Greflicer du Conseil, qui auraient enlevé à cet Officier tout prétexte de refuser de se conformer à 1'adresse de cette Chambre, et à la promesse fuite par Son Excellence le Gouverneur en Chef, dans sa Réponse à cette Adresse.
