Paperback. Zustand: New. Print on Demand. This book examines enteric fever in infants and young children, chronicling the research on the disease conducted by the author. Despite the common assumption that this illness exclusively affects adults and older children, the author argues that it can be found in much younger patients. This text explores the symptoms, treatment, and complications of the disease in infancy, providing a valuable resource for medical practitioners and researchers alike. The author presents evidence indicating not only that this disease is more prevalent among infants than previously believed, but also that it often goes undiagnosed due to its varying and unanticipated symptoms. This text ultimately underscores the importance of early recognition and prompt treatment to improve outcomes for affected infants.
