In preparing this little work, I have tried to make it a guide for young teachers. The field of geographical study is so vast that it requires considerable thought to determine wisely what should be taught and what omitted. This book contains what seems to me a reasonable amount of the proper kind of work for each of the three departments - Preparatory (or Primary), Elementary and Advanced; and gives some sug gestion5°in regard to the method of doing it.
