It cannot but be observed that the seve ralpublications, which have hitherto given or pretended to give a descm'ption oft this place, are materially erroneous from their having been successwely copied, and handed down by the difi'erent compilers to the present time, without reference to those changes which have taken place; hence no correct information has hitherto been of forded to the public.
