My constant aim has been to bring out in clear outline the most essential facts.
Where omissions and partial statements are found this must be my apology.
N ote. The student is referred to the Appendix for a supplementary statement in reference to absorption, for a tabular statement of the process of digestion, for a statement of the course of the blood in the circulation, and of its changes in passing through the principal organs, and for the discussion of the larynx.
