It contains descriptions of several cutworm species, amongst them the infamous Pale Western Cutwormâ"a previously unrecorded, injurious species responsible for extensive crop damage and loss in southern Alberta, Canada. This volume not only helps farmers, horticulturists, and gardeners identify and effectively deal with these pests, it further contributes to the building of a valuable entomological database through the addition of unrecorded species knowledge and improved control methods.
