On comparing the results of Tables IX and X, emphasis is again laid on the fact that in the cholera-immune serum of both rab bits and guinea pigs the virulent organism usually bound from eleven to seventeen times as many bacteriolytic amboceptors as the avirulent one. This difference in the power of binding practically corresponds to the difference in virulence between our two strains.
