Excerpt from Latin Syntax
Being informed, a few months ago, that Zumpt's Latin Grammar was out of print, the editor of the present work improved the opportunity for making such alterations and additions to the Syntax of the original as would obviate some, at least, of the objec tions made to the book, and enhance its usefulness. The additions to the rules are chiefly derived from the larger grammar of the same author, and those to the examples from various sources, but principally from the grammar of Ramshorn, a work unsurpassed ln the abundance and critical selection of its materials.
