Such a conclusion would be erroneous. Here, incidentally, it is seen that the method of conversion sur plus may be used to segregate those trees that will not pay their own 'way. If the sum of the conversion surpluses of'the logs in a tree does not equal or exceed the joint costs of harvesting, the tree is a cull.
