David Robert Wellens received his Master of Arts in English Education at the University of South Florida in Tampa. He was valedictorian of his high school class and attended Amherst College tuition free and graduated in 1990 with honors. He has taught writing at Hillsborough Community College, ESOL in South Korea, and Middle and High School English in the Tampa Bay area in Florida. He enjoys photography and playing classical, jazz, acoustic and rock guitar.
