Jennifer Bohnhoff teaches New Mexico History to 7th graders in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Contrary to her students' beliefs, she has never dated Kit Carson and was no actually present at the Battle of Valverde. She has, however, stood in the ruins of Ft. Craig and listened to the wind whistle through the gramma grass.
