Due to the abstract nature of this book the images within may not be proportional in relation to each other but represent facial lines, shadows, and highlighted areas to create a greater picture that is a portrait. Here presents the challenge in choosing how to color them. I recommend experimenting with blending colors to create shading that is consistent with the portrait, while also allowing yourself to use a broad range of colors for the smaller images within. Single-sided pages allow for bleed-free coloring however colored pencils may work best.
