The book contains 28 single-sided original designs inspired by the intricate patterns of Iznik pottery, a type of ceramics produced in 15th-17th century Turkey.

If you are looking for something full of delightful carefully drawn detail to colour, then seek no more. Just make sure you have some really sharp pencils at hand!

Are mandalas your thing? You shall find some mandalas with a twist here. Are you a fan of floral patterns? Then, again, it is something that might speak to your heart: you shall find carnations, tulips, pomegranates and hyacinths, lilies of the valley, bluebells and campanulae galore on every page - alongside the traditional 'tree of life' Turkish pattern featuring trees in bloom.

Difficulty level: the book is marked 'three pomegranates' - that means it is mainly aiming at advanced colourists though contains some artwork suitable for beginners and intermediate users as well. Pages include both small detail to challenge one's precision and larger flowers to inspire you to use your stunning metallic gradients and silk-like shine effect. There are gem-like forms to create gem effects and tiny pearly lilies-of-the-valley - for pearls, of course.
