After the war, Lyle continued to serve his country at the Pine Bluff Arsenal, married and raised a large family, and died at the age of 86. Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Mike Stafford is the youngest of eight children of Lyle and Mary Ann Stafford. Interested in his father’s experience in World War II, Mike interviewed him over a two year period, and this memoir is the result. A new author, Mike is an experienced career coach and business leader with over 20 years of professional leadership and management. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Prior to private work, Mike served honorably in the United States Navy on the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower aircraft carrier. He is the father of four children.
