Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Mark Renz is a Fort Myers, FL native and author of a companion book to this one entitled, "Naturally Twisted: A Wild Look At The Wild." He has also written numerous books about Florida's prehistoric past and present - from an amateur's perspective. One of those books, "Fossiling In Florida,' was published by University Press of Florida. Others published by PaleoPress, include, "MEGALODON: Hunting the Hunter," "Giants in the Storm, "Desert Sharks" and "Doug's Ark: Thinking Outside The Pile." He and his artist wife Marisa own and operate a fossil guide service (Fossil Expeditions) in SW Florida. Renz's current book focus is on capturing the sometimes quirky or unusual sides of nature with his camera and pen.
