Gayle M. Irwin is an award-winning Wyoming writer. She is the author of several inspirational pet stories and books for children and adults. She freelances for newspapers and magazines, including composing pet columns, and she assists animal rescue organizations by serving at events and transporting pets to rescue and to new, adoptive homes. Gayle is also a contributing writer to several Chicken Soup for the Soul books, and she regularly speaks in schools, at libraries, and for civic and faith-based groups.
