Biografía del autor:

Jo Cooper retired from her career in aquatic teaching when she retired at the end of 2012. She had risen from being a volunteer swimming teacher at Northolt Swimming Club in 1980 to being part of the management team of a successful swim school in North London. She studied and passed qualifications in all aquatic disciplines through the ASA and studied Leisure Management at Harrow College and the Institute of Recreation Management. At Loughborough University she studied Sports Performance Conditioning. In the late 1980s she became an ASA Tutor for swimming and synchronised swimming. She organised and ran many teacher training courses in the London Area. In 1990 she became an RLSS Trainer/Assessor for the newly created Pool Bronze medallion, now called the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. Now she has come home to the Isle of Wight she has returned to her grass roots. She is teaching swimming again on a part time basis, leaving the management to someone else.
