Inhaltsangabe

The Star Current: a transcendent mystical stream of air and water, it serves as a sole connection between Malythis and many other worlds. Simple but diverse woodland inhabitants have developed skill in building ships in which to traverse it. Young Iven and his stowaway sister Ecsan set out to see what adventure the Current has to offer aboard the currenteer caravel Lasmarine. However, destiny and an old vengeance have different ideas: Iven is arrested on charges of theft and murder, and it's up to Ecsan and her new crewmates to find a marooned otter that provided the only hope for releasing him from the clutches of the Ferret Lord Vustra. Will they return in time, or will the peace of Malythis be shattered forever? Read on to discover the importance of loyalty, friendship, and trust in the first book of the Star Current series, inspired by the Redwall novels of Brian Jacques.
