Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

My name is Rachel Beckles and I grew up and still live in London. I was always an imaginative child who enjoyed making up stories and games to play at home and in the garden. I first realised how much I like poetry when studying at secondary school. I really liked how Sir Robert Browning's poetry told a story. I started to write my own stories and poetry when I was at the University of Greenwich while I was studying to be a Teacher. My passion for children's stories grew when I taught as a primary school Teacher for six years.
